Llano County Museum

Located just north of the bridge (310 Bessemer), this interesting pioneer museum is housed in the old Bruhl Drugstore. Built in 1922, the museum gives a glimpse of Llano when it was a "boomtown". On exhibit are numerous Indian artifacts; some from the area of Enchanted Rock; early Texas artifacts; rocks and gems. You will also enjoy an exhibit about the game of polo and the world's greatest polo player, Llano's own Cecil Smith. Hours for June, July and August are 10-12 and 1:30-5:30 daily except Mondays. September through May, Thursday through Saturday 10 - 12 & 1:30 - 5:30, Sunday 1:30-5:30. (325)247-3026.
